Glossary
APY. Annual Percentage Yield, which is the yield/interest after a year, which includes compounding interest.
Collateral Rate. To borrow cryptocurrency from Vee.Finance, users need to first provide platform-backed cryptocurrency as collateral. The collateral ratio is the ratio of the borrowed amount to the collateral amount, and the maximum collateral ratio currently offered by Vee.Finance is 60%. For example, if a user deposits 1000 USDT, he/she can borrow up to 600 USD equivalent crypto assets.
Borrow Limit. The maximum borrowing power of a specific collateral. If a collateral has a borrow to Value of 60%, for every 1 ETH worth of collateral the user will be able to borrow 0.6 ETH worth of principal currency. The Loan To Value is specified per collateral and expressed in percentage points.
Liquidation. The borrowing account will be liquidated when the value of the crypto assets lent by the user is greater than the maximum borrowable asset value. For example, when the value of the user's collateral decreases or the total value of assets lent increases, resulting in a collateral ratio greater than the maximum collateral ratio, the system will automatically liquidate the collateral. The cryptocurrency market is volatile, so please keep an eye on your collateral rate.
